At Fraser Health Authority, I assist clients and families in achieving self-sufficiency and independence through tailored care plans. My role involves providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, and mobilization, as well as performing specialized tasks such as catheter care and implementing exercise routines. I work collaboratively with professional staff to report any changes in clients\' conditions. Additionally, I support meal preparation and monitor food intake, while maintaining strict confidentiality and participating in quality improvement activities. My work is guided by Fraser Health’s commitment to providing comprehensive health services across diverse communities on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations.
