Hello! My name is Nala J. Wu (aka Jae), and I am a proud queer trans illustrator of color currently doing freelance Art Direction and Illustration in the TTRPG industry. I specialize in sci-fi/fantasy illustration, character design, worldbuilding, and concept art. Other interests include Fashion Illustration, life drawing, urban sketching, and portraiture.Through my work, I advocate for diversity in order to increase the positive and meaningful representation of minority groups in media. Project co-lead and Art Director for a system agnostic guide called \"How to GM Romance\"(Released Dec 12, 2025) featuring a collection of mechanics, essays, tips, and guidance for running romance in tabletop RPGs. Created a unique visual identity for the book. Hired artists from around the globe to contribute pieces celebrating the diversity of love. Collaborated with another professional on the layout for the book.
