   Responsible for managing vendors to ensure optimum quality by leading efforts in identifying, communicating, and resolving quality problems- Lead failure analysis, root cause and corrective actions development and implementation for quality issues- Managed full time source inspectors overseas to maintain consistent product quality using ITPs and drive process improvement at vendors by implementing audits - Conducted data analysis using SPC on key product and process characteristics of fuel cell module to track and review vendor performance and provided improvement recommendation to vendors - Responsible for supplier qualification by performing quality management system surveys, special process surveys, as a part of supplier development of fuel cell stack components aimed at cost reductions & supply chain improvement - Lead/Supported process improvement project which streamlined processes to increase efficiency resulting increased inventory accuracy, reduction of non-valve added processes - Lead root cause analysis of field failures to implement corrective actions reducing service cost by elimination of early life failure and increased product availability of fuel cell - Successfully completed transition of 25+ suppliers to full production by defining and deploying FAI PPAP deliverables, quality & risk mitigation plan, process & production validation plan as a part of new product introduction
