ABOUT NAJWA AZIZ
Hi, I am a multidisciplinary product designer with 5+ years of experience across UX/UI, branding, marketing and digital product design, currently based in Germany. My path into design was a bit of a plot twist: I actually started out as a pre-medical student before realizing I was far more excited by solving design problems than memorizing biology terms.Growing up, the safe choices were always clear: medicine, engineering, something sensible. Design, on the other hand, felt like the unexpected choice, which is probably why I loved it even more. What started as a quiet rebellion turned into a career I genuinely feel at home in.Today, I’m drawn to the kind of work that needs untangling: complex systems, technical products, messy user journeys, and ideas that make perfect sense internally but need help becoming clear for real people. My background combines interaction design, visual communication, and brand thinking, so I tend to approach products with both structure and sensitivity. I care about clarity, function, and the feeling a product leaves behind.Lately, I’ve become especially interested in AI-related product development and emerging interaction patterns, particularly where design can make new technology feel more approachable, useful, and human. That curiosity led me to build an independent AI project focused on prompt literacy and human-AI interaction, which feels like a natural continuation of everything I enjoy most: reducing friction, improving understanding, and helping people work better with complex systems.Also, I’m a devoted bird person, especially when it comes to parrots, and nature is my favorite reset button. A good walk in the park can restore my brain faster than most productivity hacks ever could.
