As the MTSS Intervention Specialist, I spearhead efforts to enhance student achievement through tailored support and interventions. My role involves collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and the student support team to identify and address foundational learning gaps in students. I am responsible for designing and implementing research-based academic and behavioral interventions, ensuring fidelity in their application, and using validated tools for progress monitoring.I lead the MTSS process, connecting students and families with necessary external services to overcome barriers to academic success. My work includes conducting SST meetings, maintaining detailed student records, providing training and coaching to staff, and driving school-wide strategic initiatives for improvement. I also actively participate in professional development to refine my skills and leadership in fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment.As 504 Chair, I ensure that students with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) by coordinating accommodations, services, and supports. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to improve instruction and classroom management, provide staff training on research-based practices, and monitor student progress through data collection. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Section 504 and IDEA. Partner with parents to support student success and participate in professional development to enhance program effectiveness. Demonstrate strong skills in program analysis, communication, and problem-solving, with proficiency in leveraging technology to support processes.
