Technical + Design background and driven to build tools for Software Development. At Mozilla, I drove product strategy and experimentation for Firefox Desktop (55m DAU) first-run onboarding. During my time there, I- Launched a streamlined add-ons recommendation & installation experience to 18m customers, increasing DAU by 8.9% in an experiment for a key Windows segment- Established add-ons as a growth lever through an experiment that improved two-week retention by 0.5%, ultimately launching a streamlined recommended add-ons experience for 18m English locale users- Led customer discovery initiative and built survey experimentation capabilities, which found a higher percentage (~20 - 40%) self-identifying as new Firefox customers compared to 7% of respondents in a UR study earlier that year. This showed retention as a bigger opportunity area than acquisition, shifting the Firefox Desktop product strategy towards retention, personalization, and discovery- Drove 0-1 product vision, strategic planning, feature delivery for the frontend experience of aproductivity-focused web browser, synthesizing customer needs, business goals, market research, andengineering feasibility into actionable, customer-centric product requirements.Some personal topics of interest: community development on the internet, AI tools for non-technical creatives, programming languages as artistic mediums.
