ABOUT NAIRUZ E.
I’m a Bioinformatics PhD candidate with Dr. Paul Pavlidis, curious about the molecular logic of stable cellular identities in the brain and the subtle regulatory shifts that underlie vulnerability to disease. I use large-scale single-nucleus RNA sequencing data to reconstruct gene coexpression circuits and explore how they shift in Alzheimer’s disease.With a background in medical genetics and computational biology, I have an appetite for interrogating biological data to extract meaningful insights. I’m always open to collaborations at the nexus of computational biology, neuroscience, and genomics.
