I completed my master\'s degree in data science from the University of Buffalo in February 2023, where I gained knowledge and skills in data analysis, machine learning, and cloud computing. Since March 2023, I have been working as a data engineer on contract at Caltek Solutions Inc, a leading software company that provides innovative solutions for various industries. My core competencies include developing, optimizing, and automating data pipelines using various tools and frameworks, such as Spark, Airflow, AWS, GCP, Python, SQL and Databricks.My experiences enabled me to be involved in several projects that require data extraction, transformation, and aggregation from various file formats, such as CSV, JSON, XML, and Parquet. I have used Spark SQL and Python to process large volumes of structured data within Hive tables, and PySpark to read and write Parquet data. I have also used Airflow to create and configure job flows in Python, adding dependency and data quality checks, and ensuring efficient scheduling and execution of Spark commands. I have also utilized AWS Glue and Amazon Athena to extract, aggregate, and consolidate raw data from multiple sources. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and best practices. I am passionate about solving complex data problems and delivering value to the clients and the company.
