About Naina Kataria

Copywriter, mostly content. In 2015, I switched from being an engineer to a writer. While most said it was a monetarily wrong choice to make, I stood firm on my decision because I would rather be a good writer than a bad engineer. Within the next 8.5 years, my work was featured in known publications like Hindustan Times, BBC International, Daily Mail and BuzzFeed India, I supervised a web series for one of the biggest OTT production houses in India, scripted and voiced India\'s first Animoji campaign, won two digital awards, taught copywriting in workshops, learned to build brand from scratch, define its ecosystem through UX copy, taking its ad CPI below the industry benchmark in both US and India. The approach was simple: See the world around you and turn it into words. What\'s next, you may ask? I started in the world of digital advertising where I would sit for hours to come up with a creative that would barely get 15 likes, I now seek to work towards making an impact with my creativity. I was once told that tech and writing are two different spaces but in the digital era, the gap is narrower than ever. I seek avenues where I can push the envelope with my creative prowess and bring about a tangible change, be it for the brand or the product.
