A formal working group of the LEED Steering Committee, the DEI Working Group serves as an advisory body responsible for making recommendations for supporting and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the built environment through the LEED green building rating systems. The group is charged with proposing a framework, providing feedback on specific proposals, and supporting the evolution of LEED using the consensus process in accordance with the mission, guiding principles, and strategic plan of USGBC.
