Highly skilled Ph.D. Research chemist with over 11 years of diverse experience spanning analytical chemistry, material science and material characterization, and inorganic chemistry (nanomaterials synthesis and application for small molecule synthesis ). At Isola Group, previously as an analytical chemist, I conducted comprehensive root cause analysis of defects in laminates/boards as a failure analyst. In my current role as an Analytical Chemist IV-Specialist Chemist at Isola Group, I support and manage a specialized testing laboratory dedicated to material characterization and chemical analysis, supporting R&D with new product development and quality assessment. In addition, I secure UL certifications for new materials and oversee follow-up services. My expertise lies in a diverse range of areas, including:• Material Characterization: I utilize a vast arsenal of analytical techniques like SEM/EDS, TEM, XRD, XPS, BET, Chemisorption, TGA DSC, ICP-OES, and more, for a strong understanding of material composition, structure, and surface properties.• Material Failure Analysis: With a focus on copper-clad laminates (CCL) and prepreg materials used in electronic components, I possess the skills to diagnose material failures and identify their root causes.• Catalyst Design and Synthesis: My PhD research experience involved Heterogenous Catalysis involving metal catalyst development using mesoporous silica, ceria support, and performing structure-property characterization, with application in small molecules synthesis.• Chemical Analysis: I am proficient in a wide range of analytical techniques like GCMS, HPLC, NMR, allowing me to determine the chemical composition of materials.• Scientific Writing and Peer Review: I authored 15 high-impact publications and currently serve as a reviewer for journals like MDPI and ACS, actively contributing to scientific knowledge.• Data Analysis and Documentation: Proficient in Office products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to analyze data and generate reports.• Mentoring experience: Mentored undergraduates and trained lab personnel, fostering their skill development and contributing to increased proficiency resulting in faster and more accurate analysis.
