Aquilli Metzli Cooperative is an indigenous & Latine-led collection of farmers, workers, and other members dedicated to indigenous food sovereignty and regional food resiliency. We grow and sell fresh produce, focusing on milpa production of the three sisters: corn, squash, and beans. We make fresh masa with local and heirloom maize, selling at Farmers Markets, direct to consumer, and wholesale. My contributions are currently Operations, developing procedures and policies, outreach, and advocacy. Volunteering my time until we see revenue gains to pay ourselves.
