Naheed worked in the news industry as a photojournalist and photo editor for eight years before she began her own photo and film studio. After 12 years as an entrepreneur Naheed became a passionate educator and worked for 4 years teaching multimedia, photography and film in Los Angeles. Naheed is back in action, shooting video & photos and editing full time. She is currently working on 2 documentaries and writing her first narrative film. Her films have been shown at various venues in New York City, Detroit and Los Angeles. Her images have been featured in publications ranging from The Washington Post and USA Today to The Detroit Free Press and Time Out New York.
