ABOUT NAGIB AL-UDAINI

Over 20 years of EPFC industry experience in both the private and public sectors. It ranges across industries like Oil & gas, Petrochemicals, Infrastructure and Nuclear. It includes project management, project engineering, project control, contract administration, risk management, modular fabrication and structural design & inspection. Recent project management/engineering experience has been with Module Fabrication of the largest LNG facility to be built in Canada. I have been part of the oversight team that looks after the fabrication teams in Qingdao and Zhuhai in China. I have been in charge of the project fabrications risks and managing IT developers to create accurate and robust dashboard reporting.Previous project engineering experience has been on a number of Oil and Gas and petrochemical projects. I have been in charge of project execution & planning, interface management, module fabrication & construction, proposal management, project monitoring & control, constructability reviews, supplier data coordination, risk management and contract administrations.Previous project management experience has been in a number of major capital bridge rehabilitation projects in the City of Calgary. Within these projects, I have been in charge of preparing scope charters, project planning, estimating, budgeting, tendering and awarding contracts. Followed by contract administration, project monitoring & control, and contract close out. The structural design experience has been in a wide variety of projects for the Oil & gas industry. These include a refinery revamp project, a power distribution project for a new oil sand upgrader facility and an expansion of an existing upgrader to increase production capacity. Within these projects, I have been involved with preliminary and detailed designs, calculation checking, project tracking, squad checking, coordinating deliverables with other project disciplines, estimating and material take-off.
