NCT has it’s interventions in 3 states of India such as Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. NCT has been working on below thematic areas-1. Generation of Self-Employment in rural areas: NCT has adopted the strategy of “Development through Self-employment”. NCT encourage and empower the people’s institutions like SHGs, Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), etc. and support them through micro finance activities for improving their social and economic status. Women Empowerment: NCT works and promote the collective voices of women through women’s group and their federation. NCT engage women in saving and credit activities and make effort for easy access of health care, education and vocational guidance. Tribal Development: NCT primarily work with the tribal population of 3 states through different participatory interventions and help tribal population for raising productivity levels in agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry and small- scale industries etc, to improve the economic conditions.NCT is implementing an ambitious Tribal Development Programme for NABARD, involving over households in tribal areas of above 3 states 4. Natural Resource Management and environment: NCT has different interventions in relation of managing natural resources and protection of environment such as watershed development, plantation of trees, Eco-friendly wild honey collection & processing etc.5. Promotion of Agriculture based Rural Livelihood: NCT has its different interventions with farmers and make efforts to enhance their knowledge about the different & latest techniques of farming, organic farming, collectivize and promote the institutions of farmers like Farmer’s club, FIG, FPOs,etc. Health and sanitation: NCT put their effort to aware & sensitize rural people about the health & hygienic issues. NCT has supported over HHs in construction of rural low-cost toilets and contributed in making the villages open deification free.
