Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs
Jan 2024 — Present · Hanover, MD, US
As the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs, I ensure all our in-house legal needs are addressed and that our client projects have the proper legal support and insight from conception to completion. Additionally, I serve as a trusted advisor to the 22Beacon leadership team, providing necessary guidance and knowledge as we continue to grow the business and make a more significant impact on families and children\'s lives nationwide. 22Beacon (formerly known as Charter School Development Corporation [CSDC]) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that eliminates barriers to educational access choice and equity by providing educational facility solutions in under-resourced communities.22Beacon provides schools and their ecosystems with the investment and real estate resources they need to build and thrive — specifically those in under-resourced communities. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, we bring funding and facilities to where they are most needed — eliminating barriers to access, choice, and equity. Our deeply experienced team has earned its best-in-class reputation through decades of outstanding impact-driven performance. We provide a level of strategic thinking, practical know-how, staunch advocacy, and passionate commitment to client missions that can be found nowhere else. Those who work with 22Beacon will never have a more dedicated, compassionate and results-oriented partner in their corner. We bring funding and facilities to where they are most needed — eliminating barriers to access, choice, and equity in under-resourced communities. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we provide schools and their ecosystems with the investment and real estate resources they need to build and thrive. Embracing promise where others see risk, early-stage educational ventures comprise 75% of our portfolio. When we do our jobs right, the ripple effect will improve countless lives far beyond the communities we serve.
