Working as a process engineer on Indian Oil Barauni Refinery Capacity Expansion project (Phase-1). Prepared basic engineering design package for 9 MMTPA Atmospheric Vacuum Distillation Unit. Key activities- assay characterization for multiple crude cases, flowsheet preparation for the entire unit in PRO-II simulation, heat exchanger network, optimization of Naphtha Stabilizer and Naphtha Splitter, preparation of PFDs/P & IDs, process datasheets, replying to technical queries raised by LSTK bidders2. worked as a process engineer on proposed LNG Regasification Terminal of GSPC LNG Ltd. at Mundra Terminal, India. Terminal has LNG unloading, storage, regasification and send out facility. Capacity of terminal of High Pressure Natural Gas Send Out in Phase-1 is 5 MMTPA and in Phase-2 it will be 10 MMTPA. Our role is detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning support and performance guarantee as an LSTK contractor for the entire facility excluding the storage tanks. Process activities handled so far are hydraulic calculations for pumps, control valves,compressors, process data sheets for vessels, pumps & other miscellaneous items,overpressure scenario identification, safety valve load and sizing calculations, instrument process data sheets for control valves, safety valves and field instruments, process data for piping, process safety data for electrical, relief system philosophy, functional schematic diagrams for control loops, alarm and trip summary, DCS graphics mark up and operating manual.3. Worked as a process engineer on a gas cracker producing ethylene for Formosa Plastic Corporation, Texas. Scope was detailed engineering. Lummus was the licensor. Activity performed was overpressure scenario identification, relief load and sizing calculation and preparation of instrument process data sheet for safety valves. This was performed for around 250 safety valves.
