My Responsibilities as a Corporate Manager of HR – Payroll & Statutory Compliance• Finalize monthly attendance and manage leave records.• Prepare monthly payroll using payroll software.• Create payment advisories for salary disbursement.• Generate and distribute pay slips.• Perform payroll reconciliation.• Prepare lists for additions and deletions.• Generate HR payroll reports.• Address payroll-related grievances in communication with internal departments.• Ensure adherence to full and final settlement and recovery processes.• Handle payroll budgeting and related processes.• Understand and apply changes in salary structure due to increments.• Manage Gratuity renewals and claims.• Generate and ensure compliance with PF & ESI challans and payments.• Apply expertise in the Contract Labour Act (both State and Central), the Payment of Bonus Act, and the Minimum Wage Act across all of India.• Preparing a costing sheet to secure new contracts, ensuring alignment with minimum wage and statutory compliance requirements at a national level.• Oversee compliance with payroll statutes and internal policies.• Conduct training on compliance to raise awareness within the organization.• Review and update compliance policies and procedures.• Maintain employee payroll data in the HRMS system.• Stay informed about payroll SOPs and salary structure changes under the latest wage code laws.• Implementing monthly internal audits for our regional HR teams to ensure adherence to statutory compliance, including timely submissions of EPF, ESIC, PT, MHWF, and annual returns, Welfare Fund. This proactive approach aims to minimize compliance-related issues.
