About Nagaraju Guvvala
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Advanced Power Systems in Florida State University, where I design and test electrical insulation for superconducting power apparatus and nuclear fusion applications. With a PhD in High Voltage Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, I have a strong background in nanodielectrics, space charge and surface charge analysis, and high voltage insulation.In my current role, I conduct critical current measurements, partial discharge measurements, AC loss measurements, and high voltage cryogenic testing of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) tapes, coils, and cables at various temperatures and realistic operating conditions. Acquired skills in LabVIEW data acquisition systems, FEM Simulation, project management, collaboration, and teamwork. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to innovative and challenging projects in the field of superconducting power and high voltage electrical engineering.
