Responsibilities and learnings included:• Operation and monitoring of High Rate Solid Contact Clarifier (HRSCC) and Gravity Sand Filter (GSF) for raw water clarification and filtration.• Handling and operation of multi-stage pumps for raw water circulation and transfer.• Chemical storage and dosing: practical experience with Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC), Anionic Poly-Electrolyte, and Sodium Hypochlorite.• Ensuring smooth plant operations through routine checks, process adjustments, and adherence to SOPs.• Supporting water quality assurance by coordinating with laboratory teams for sampling and analysis.• Focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency in utilities plant operations.This role strengthened my knowledge of industrial water treatment processes and enhanced my skills in plant operation, troubleshooting, and utilities management.
