About Naga Maddilety Reddy Anakala

I am currently working with PanIIT Alumni Foundation, providing high-quality vocational education for theyouth from remote villages in India.Together with passionate alumni from IITs and IIMs and industry experts, we have been instrumental in providing skill training for more than rural youth in Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha etc. Youth who had low means to continue their education and fewer job opportunities receive required counselling and guidance to join Gurukuls or Kaushal Colleges. These institutes run under the leadership of retired army officers and industry experts, providing high-quality vocational training and life skills to the youth. After successful training, 100% of these youth get job opportunities with reputed employers across different cities in India and Gulf countries. While youth from low-income homes get opportunities to earn more and bring their families out of poverty, our employer partners get a hardworking, dedicated skilled workforce with a high retention rate. I am passionate to work for the less privileged and needy. I have been lucky to get a quality education from reputed institutes though many of my peers from my village and school have discontinued their studies at different levels.During my studies at IIT Roorkee, I was graced with different roles with National Service Scheme, eventually leading a team of 400 volunteers for community projects related to education and health, in and around campus. This experience had not only given me the opportunity to serve but also inspired me to take up Development Sector as my career. At Avanti, I was instrumental in initiating programs across different cities for students from low-income homes and developing a strong team to lead our work. I was fortunate to help more than students, realize their potential and join reputed colleges for higher education.

   With a decade of dedicated service in the Sourcing and Social Impact function at PanIIT Alumni Foundation, I have evolved through diverse roles, gaining deep insights from grassroots communities and collaborating with committed colleagues. My recent promotion as Head of the function in Jharkhand marks a pivotal milestone and a renewed commitment to advancing social transformation for rural youth.In this leadership role, I am responsible for identifying and mobilizing over youth annually from some of the most underserved regions, connecting them to high-quality vocational education through Gurukuls and Kaushal Colleges. These flagship programs equip youth with market-relevant skills, life orientation, and clear pathways to careers that disrupt cycles of generational poverty.To achieve this impact, I harness the power of collective commitment—partnering with motivated community cadres, mobilization executives, PanIIT staff engaged throughout the student lifecycle, alumni, community influencers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders. My leadership emphasizes building innovative outreach networks that integrate digital strategies with strong on-the-ground relationships, ensuring that every deserving youth becomes aware of and accesses these transformative opportunities.Through this collaborative action, we bridge the gap between aspiration and access, enabling youth to secure meaningful employment both in India and abroad, and fostering lasting positive change within families and communities. Each success story—from marginal farming households to confident professionals—reinforces my conviction in sustainable, system-driven change.This decade-long journey has shaped me into a leader deeply passionate about equity, scale, and enduring impact, driving PanIIT’s mission to build an inclusive education-employment-entrepreneurship continuum for a new India.
