About Nafis Iqbal
I am a Senior Process Engineer at Intel Corporation. I received my Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida. My Ph.D. research included investigating the performance, reliability, degradation, and failure mode analysis of semiconductor materials, photovoltaic devices, and silicon solar cells.I have 5 years of experience in electrical, optical, and materials characterization of silicon solar cells and modules. I also have experience in semiconductor device and solar cell fabrication and processing in cleanroom environment. I have collaborated with industry partners to develop novel technologies, characterization processes, and measurement tools. I have led research projects, resulting in 10 peer-reviewed journal publications, and 10 conference proceedings.Technical Skills:– Materials Characterization & Testing (5 years of experience): SEM, EDS, TEM, FIB, XPS, UPS, SIMS, FTIR, optical microscopy, TGA, Tensile tests, Polishing, Metallography, Surface profilometry– Fabrication (5 years of experience): Semiconductor wafer handling, cleaning, chemical etching, UV Ozone treatment, E-beam Evaporation (PVD), Annealing (Furnace & RTA), sputter coating, ultra-sonication, laser processing– Electrical & Optical Characterization (4 years of experience): Photoluminescence (PL) imaging, lifetime, Suns-VOC, Current-voltage (I-V), Electroluminescence (EL) imaging, Contact resistivity (TLM), quantum efficiency (QE), and reflectance measurements– Simulations & Statistical Data Analysis: Python, Origin, JMP, AutoCAD, ImageJ, Griddler 2.5 Pro, MATLABI\'m always looking to grow my personal and professional network.
