As a fee earner within the CSG Property Recoveries Department at DAC Beachcroft, I manage a busy caseload of over 100 subrogated property and motor recovery matters on behalf of insurer clients. I handle cases from initial instruction through to settlement, ensuring each claim is progressed efficiently and in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules.My role involves assessing liability, drafting key legal documents including letters of claim, particulars of claim, and negotiating settlements with third parties to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. I regularly liaise with insurers, defendants, and external stakeholders to gather evidence and advance claims in a timely and commercially focused manner.I take responsibility for maintaining meticulous case records, meeting recovery targets, and ensuring compliance with both firm policies and client service standards. I also conduct legal research and assist senior solicitors in advising clients on recovery prospects and litigation strategy.This position has allowed me to develop strong technical expertise in property law and dispute resolution, alongside excellent case management, communication, and negotiation skills. I take pride in delivering high-quality work and achieving successful recoveries that align with client objectives.
