About Nafisa Anzoom
I\'m Nafisa, a senior at Barnard College majoring in Education and minoring in Statistics. My academic journey blends a passion for education with a keen interest in data science and consulting. I’m currently building my analytical skills, taking several statistics courses, and learning Python to deepen my understanding of data analysis. This interest has guided my aspirations to pursue analyst and consultant roles. Beyond academics, I have a strong commitment to cultural heritage and language preservation, focusing on the Bangla language in the context of globalization. This ties into my trilingual background and love for learning languages, which I hope to incorporate into my career. In addition, my role as a lead facilitator at ALDA allowed me to advise rising seniors on the college process, honing my communication and mentoring skills—skills I’ve further applied in projects on digital citizenship and media misinformation. I\'m currently seeking data analyst or consulting internships where I can sharpen my technical skills and, if possible, gain financial experience. These opportunities will allow me to further integrate my analytical capabilities with my passion for problem-solving in diverse fields
