ABOUT SYED NAFIFUR RAHMAN

I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM), having embarked on this journey in 2018. My firm conviction is that the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry is in dire need of digitalization, and it is our ethical duty as BIM Engineers to champion this cause. My expertise primarily lies in Automation, Parametric Modeling, 3D Modeling and Visualization. To achieve these goals, I harness the power of BIM tools such as Revit and Dynamo. During my previous role, I had the privilege of working as a UI/UX designer, collaborating closely with front-end developers to deliver exceptional outcomes. I also had the opportunity to serve as a Graduate Executive Trainee at Hhridistit Construction, where I gained hands-on experience in computer-aided design and analysis, particularly in the context of seismic loads. Furthermore, my stint as a Structural Intern at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G), further enriched my knowledge and skills in this field. In terms of education, I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from Assam Engineering College, India. Additionally, I earned my Master of Science (MSc) in Structural Engineering from Bauhaus Universität in Weimar, Germany. These academic accomplishments have laid a solid foundation for my career in BIM and the broader field of civil engineering. I am deeply passionate about advancing BIM technology, and I am committed to contributing to its growth and evolution within the AEC industry.
