Upgrading, Patch management, Provisioning of RHEL 6, 7 & CentOS Distro based infrastructure. • Setting up Kickstart Scripts for automated installation/Deploying OS via PXE-Boot Server with zero user interaction with Linux servers over the network. • Improving functionality via automation, leveraging ansible playbooks; to automate large number of Linux Servers especially patch management. • Deploying, patching, and maintaining application(s) across various Linux servers via automation Cron Jobs, Bash/Shell Scripting, and ansible playbooks. • Using Shell scripts to automate, customize administrative repetitive administrative tasks. • Experience of Running Ad-hoc commands for gather information/facts and creating playbooks and roles to automate the configuration, provisioning, application deployment, task completion in timely fashion. • Supporting VMware based environment consisting of ESXi Hypervisor; aiming to achieve high availability and fault tolerance. • Configuring security, hardening of Linux server and managed network connections through iptables, Firewall, SELinux and monitoring network traffic/ issues using Wireshark and tcpdump. • Extensively using LVM for disk management and supporting multiple filesystems on the same Linux host, where extending LVs and resizing root, and SWAP and other file systems using LVM. • Providing support services and change management by resolving tickets, incidents, and change requests assigned through Zendesk, Service Now (SNOW). • Worked with container-based deployments using Docker, working with Docker images, Docker hub and Docker registries, installation and configuration of Kubernetes, and clustering them. • Monitoring health checks for virtual machines, ESXi hosts, creating templates for provisioning new VMs, and taking snapshots before patching and decommissioning them.
