I\'m an expert advisor in AI strategy, ethics, and governance, working globally to help organisations harness AI responsibly and transparently. Recognised by Mozilla as one of 25 visionaries shaping a better Internet and awarded Excellence in AI (Ethical AI Category) in 2022, I bring deep expertise in designing strategies and practical frameworks that make emerging technologies work in the public interest.As Head of Data and AI Ethics Policy for the UK Government, I led the development of the UK’s pioneering Algorithmic Transparency Standard - one of the first national standards of its kind - and created the UK’s first public sector Data Ethicist role. My work is now referenced internationally as a model for responsible AI governance. Alongside my policy leadership, I have advised global technology companies, governments, and international organisations on embedding fairness, explainability, and accountability into AI and data systems.
