ABOUT NADIR KINOSSIAN

Nadir Kinossian is Senior Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography in Leipzig, Germany. My research interests include territorial development, multilevel governance, cultural landscapes, and the post-socialist city. Recently, I have been working on the agentic and institutional aspects of change in old industrial regions in Europe and Russia. I was awarded a PhD in City and Regional Planning from Cardiff University, for work on urban governance in Russia (2010). Currently, I am the Project leader of \"Agents of Change in Old-industrial Regions in Europe (ACORE)\" and Co-investigator in “Beyond ‘Left Behind Places’: Understanding Demographic and Socioeconomic Change in Peripheral Regions” project.
