Hello LinkedIn Family,I’m Nadira Montague, a proud first-generation college student and rising junior at Howard University, majoring in Criminology with a minor in Pre-Legal Communications. As the owner of Princess and the Locs, I balance entrepreneurship with my academic and professional pursuits, channeling creativity and commitment to excellence into everything I do.At Howard, I actively contribute to organizations such as Black Women in Pre-Law, Future Law Scholars, and pipeline to the Mecca Program, where I mentor students and advocate for higher education opportunities, particularly at HBCUs.In addition to my academic and extracurricular activities, I have gained valuable professional experience as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens and as a receptionist at New Era Eyecare. These roles have sharpened my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, which I aim to apply in the legal field.Currently, I am seeking internship opportunities to deepen my knowledge and gain hands-on experience in civil rights law. I am passionate about combining my advocacy background with legal expertise to promote equity and justice.I’m eager to connect with professionals, mentors, and organizations who share my commitment to making a difference.
