Leading a Team of 7 and matrix management of 70 geographically diverse Site Procurement Managers (SLM) Spend scope £3.7B, all GSK manufacturing sites (Consumer and Pharma) 1) Led and implemented strategic review of operating model for Procurement service to Supply Chain - across multiple stakeholders. Facilitated by agreeing a robust Service Level Agreement. Created and deployed Indirect tail management strategy, across Capital, Non Inventory - £385M spend 2) Change management : o Data based methodology developed to build case for change to enable Procurement to influence business agenda. Streamlined and standardized working processes across 70 sites (reduced time spent on transactional activities from 25% to 15% in 6 months) o Robust partnership built with Supply Chain and Procurement to align organization behind compelling vision 3) Performance: fully re-built dashboard to ensure use of one data source through effective alignment with Finance department – this included consistent KPI definition to conduct robust and consistent performance management. Introduced automation to drive efficiency, extending to Supply Chain to drive business ownership towards cost delivery 4) Building capability: In close collaboration with Global Procurement, led team to trained 70 SLMs on Financials, Health & Wellbeing, influencing skills etc. Robust process created to ensure control vs standard and improvement interventions required to close gaps 5) Indirect simplification strategy - Implementation of 3rd party provider to manage tail spend across 11 manufacturing sites across EU / NA / Singapore
