ABOUT NADIM MOUAWAD

Driven to achieve the sustainable energy transition of the world. I am motivated by the imperative to address the changing climate. The conventional centralized electricity grid has effectively delivered uninterrupted power to developed nations, primarily sustained by the consistent combustion of fossil fuels. However, this success has not been replicated in many developing countries. My knowledge in electric grids, distributed energy resources, and energy systems permits me to guide the transition toward a carbon-free and energy-abundant global landscape. I firmly believe that access to electricity is a fundamental right that should be extended to all corners of the world. The challenge lies in efficiently managing renewable energy sources to ensure a stable and reliable power supply. I am employing mathematical optimization models to provide solution in that matter. These models serve as powerful tools, offering flexible and optimal solutions tailored to the unique characteristics of the energy systems in question. I aim to contribute to the realization of a more sustainable and universally accessible electricity future.
