2021 to Present: co-leading (with FAO), the preparation of Food Security Preparedness Plan for Yemen. Adapting an effective global coordination instrument to the critical situation of famine and food insecurity in the country.• 2017 to 2020: Advising the Adaptation of African Agriculture Initiative at two levels:(i) prioritizing and implementing \"climate-smart agriculture\" operations that contribute to both mitigation and adaptation to climate change in Cote d\'Ivoire, Mali, Morocco and the Republic of Congo; and (ii) establishing a framework that sustains such assistance and expands it to other countries. The overall goal is to direct more evidence-based attention (and investment) toward the agriculture-climate change on the Continent.• 2015 to 2019: Support to the World Bank’s Global Practice on Agriculture, with focus on two programs:(i)The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP). GAFSP is a multi-donor partnership for the advancement of food security at the local level in the poorest countries and (ii) Rain-fed Areas Development in MENA.
