I lead Microsoft’s Identity & Network Access Security Division (IDNA), where my teams build and operate the services that authenticate more than a billion users every day and securely connect them to the resources they rely on. That includes Microsoft Account for consumers and Microsoft Entra ID for businesses.Through Microsoft Entra, we deliver Zero Trust identity and access controls across hybrid and multicloud environments, protecting any identity, from anywhere, to any app, AI workload, or resource. Entra is trusted by more than 95% of the Fortune 500.As Microsoft advances its AI first platform, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, LinkedIn, and Azure AI, identity and access security become even more critical. My team is reshaping how identity works at this new scale, ensuring security keeps pace with rapidly evolving AI experiences. We’re pioneering the use of agentic AI to simplify how security is managed while strengthening protection end-to-end across users, apps, and workloadThat same focus on trust and resilience extends to my role in Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative (SFI), where I lead guiding identity and secrets protection. Through SFI, we’re strengthening the resilience of identity systems and advancing modern security standards to better protect customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem.I joined Microsoft in and have spent over 25 years leading engineering teams, including Remote Desktop and Microsoft Intune. I earned a B.Eng.(Honors) in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and along the way, I’ve been fortunate to contribute to industry leading technologies and hold more than 90 U.S. patents.
