I am a Data Privacy Professional with extensive experience in implementing and maintaining compliance with the EU & UK GDPR, as well as the DPA 2018. As a certified member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), I hold the CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) and CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) certifications, demonstrating my deep expertise in data protection.Currently, I work as part of the legal team at Multiplex, where I have built a reputation as a trusted advisor on data protection matters. I am passionate about promoting a culture of privacy within the organization and ensuring ongoing compliance. My experience includes successfully managing comprehensive data privacy programs, which involve developing and implementing data protection policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Before transitioning into data privacy, I had a successful career in HR, part of which involved me leading the implementation of the GDPR program within the business when it was introduced in the UK in 2018. This experience shaped my ability to approach data privacy from a strategic, organizational perspective, and I later became the lead in this area. I am driven by continuous improvement and also have a keen interest in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and the adoption of AI technologies in the workplace.
