Published Author, Book Editor. Nadia Bruce served as a business affairs executive for more than twenty years at independent film distributors such as GK Films (“Aviator”, “Gangs of New York”, “Hugo”), Franchise Pictures International, Gold Circle International (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”), and Arclight International. In 2008, Ms. Bruce established her own company (now NBR Media, Inc.) handling international sales of two libraries of films from the 1990’s (totaling 31 films, including such titles as “Maniac Cop”, “Red Scorpion”, and “The Exterminator”), as well as a select number of newly produced titles. The library of Shapiro Glickenhaus Entertainment titles has sold out throughout almost the entire world. “Falls The Shadow”, a classic post-apocalyptic tale filmed in Nashville, has garnered US release under the title “Zombie Warz”, as well as release in territories such as Japan, Scandinavia, the UK, the Middle East, Germany and C.I.S. The micro-budget genre-bending film “Worm” will be released in first quarter 2014 by Synapse Films in the US, with more deals currently in negotiation.Her book DRIVING IN THE RAIN was published 11/2020 by Punk Hostage Press. it is a collection of stories and poetry, memoir based, with a focus on addiction and recovery.In addition, her book SCARS was published in the fall of 2014 by Punk Hostage Press. She has worked closely with both Fintage Magyar and Freeway Entertainment, as well as Atrium, Pueblo, etc. Ms. Bruce has negotiated notices of assignment with financiers such as Comerica, Bank Leumi, Aramid, Bank of Ireland, and ICB, and worked with bond companies such as Film Finances, cineFinance and The Completion Guarantors.Ms. Bruce has worked extensively on rights-tracking databases such as Filmtrack Software, iRights, and Comet. In addition, Ms. Bruce has managed collections and has a great track-record with getting the funds in!
