Working on projects to increase climate coverage across BBC News, audience reach & impact and finding ways to decarbonise news deployments across departments- News Channel Rep for the Journalism Climate Network. Acting as a first port of call for climate literacy within the team. Signposting colleagues to relevant resources, tools and guidance when reporting on climate-related stories. Helping strengthen the BBC\'s editorial approach by raising awareness of best practice in climate reporting- Frequently deployed as a field producer, including leading BBC News coverage of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz in January 2025 and the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. Coordinating live reporting on the ground, responsible for a team of producers delivering content and building a story narrative for the BBC’s global audiences.

ABOUT NADIA RAGOZHINA
A Senior Journalist with more than two decades of experience in TV and radio content production, I am now focusing on Digital news. I have proven experience of delivering engaging coverage of stories dominating the international news agenda, operating in an extremely fast-paced environment of a live newsroom and planning ahead while reacting to breaking stories. I am an effective and clear communicator in three languages with exceptional organisational skills that inspire and reassure team members when deadlines are tight. My book, Worlds Apart, was published in 2020. It is set over the course of a hundred years of European history and tells the stories of my great-grandfather, his brother and their descendants - my ancestors. I am also a sustainability blogger and an advocate for a zero waste lifestyle. I document my attempts to reduce waste on Instagram @nadiaswastechallenge and in my monthly blog for a London-based Russian magazine.
