Research Mentor @Lumiere Education
As a Research Mentor with Lumiere, I guide high school students through the process of designing and carrying out original research projects. My role combines scholarly expertise with one-on-one mentorship—helping students formulate research questions, develop methodological skills, and produce papers that bridge rigorous analysis with their own intellectual curiosity.In this capacity, I draw on my background in anthropology, feminist theory, and medical humanities to equip emerging scholars with the tools to think critically, write effectively, and situate their projects in broader cultural and academic contexts. Beyond technical guidance, I see mentorship as relational: fostering confidence, curiosity, and care in the next generation of researchers.
