I am an Associate Consultant for EVERYBODY Consulting. Within this role, I am an experienced Master Trainer for The Body Project - an evidenced-based eating disorder prevention programme and have delivered trainings for the NHS and Oxfordshire County Council.EVERYBODY Consulting is a global team of world-renowned experts in body image, appearance diversity and mental health. ABOUT NADIA CRADDOCK
I am a social scientist specialising in body image, eating disorders and appearance-based prejudice - most notably colourism. I lead collaborative, multi-stakeholder research projects designed to improve body confidence and self-esteem, prevent eating disorders, and dismantle harmful appearance standards and stereotypes. I have worked with partners including Dove, UNICEF, the World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Girl Effect, and Moonbug Entertainment. I receive both industry and research council funding and have 25+ peer reviewed publications. I co-lead a scientific partnership between the Centre for Appearance Research, UWE Bristol and the Dove Self-Esteem Project - the social purpose initiative of Unilever\'s personal care brand, Dove. I speak at events on topics related to body image, inclusive beauty and advertising, social impact and DEI, and eating disorders including CogX, the Women of the World Festival, Good Girls Eat Dinner, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Cheltenham Science Festival, and Happy Place Festival. I have also been invited to speak at the Department of Education and Government Digital Service, as well as beauty/cosmetic industry events such as Cosmetics Europe. I also regularly speak at academic and medical conferences.I have an award-winning PhD which focused on the role of CSR within the fashion, advertising and beauty industry, a Master\'s Degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath (1st class hons).
