ABOUT NADENE COETZEE
My passion for internal Auditing started during my studies at the University of Pretoria, South Africa (accredited as a Centre of Excellence level by the Institute of Internal Auditors). This was reflected through achievements/ awards during my Honours.I have worked for both a medium (RSM) and large (PwC) audit consulting firm and within an internal audit function (Golar LNG). This allowed me to gain a unique perspective on various aspects of the internal audit framework and contributed to my strong technical skills, fostering a key understanding of business and business processes. One of my proudest achievements in my career was developing and publishing Golar’s first Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) report, not only due to the excellent experience I gained but also because I believe ESG is very important during the current economic climate.I am eager to be challenged in order to grow and expand on my skillset and aspire to one day be the Head of Internal Audit.
