Langdale residential and nursing homes aim to provide service users with a secure, relaxed, and a homely environment in which their care, well-being, and comfort is of prime importance. A holistic and person centred approach is adopted by to ensure that all the needs and wishes of service users are taken into account and catered for.It is our belief that service users should be as fully involved in their care and the running of the home as much as possible. This is facilitated through care planning with service users and next of kin, regular service user meetings and one-to-one time with service users and their key workers. Resident’s views are also gathered through simple questionnaires the results of which are used to shape our communal activities and services as well as individual care plans.Care is provided in a sensitive and individual way and staff strive to maintain the independence, dignity, privacy and confidentiality of service users. Our homes have a warm and caring atmosphere and staff are sensitive to the service users changing needs in all aspects of their lives including: physical, emotional, cultural, psychological, spiritual and social.
