About Nada Jain
Nada Jain, Ph.D, J.D, is Founder and Managing Director of RIDEfor8 Ventures LLC, an impact-driven investment firm dedicated to supporting the economic revitalization and diversification of the State of Wyoming by promoting commercially-focused innovation, entrepreneurship and creation of high-skill jobs, initially in the field of biosciences. She is also Managing Member of Circle33 LLC, and an angel investor in early stage companies. Dr. Jain is a scientist, intellectual property lawyer and venture capitalist with over thirty years of combined experience focusing on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and engineering. Previously she was Managing Partner of Golden Seeds Fund2 LP and Managing Director of Golden Seeds LLC where she focused on life sciences deals. She practiced in several prestigious law firms including Clifford Chance prior to founding her own boutique IP law firm, which she ran for over ten years. Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Jain spent several years as Assistant Professor at Belgrade University School of Agricultural Engineering and Visiting Scientist at Universite Paris-Sud. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Dr. Jain is focusing on game changing technologies and on impact investing. She was Chair of the Board of Cognition Therapeutics, Inc, a clinical-stage Alzheimer\'s disease drug discovery company, Director of Kalion Inc, an industrial biotechnology company, and Director of Avaxia Biologics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company in the field of gut-targeted therapeutics where she also held Audit and Compensation Committee roles. Dr. Jain is Trustee of the National Museum of Wildlife Art of the United States, Chair of the Museum\'s Finance Committee and Treasurer.
