I am a co-founder of Energytech Cypher, an innovation hub based in Houston, Texas. We are building a community of energy tech startup founders, investors, and corporate partners who together will lead the Energy Transition.I have over 15 years of corporate innovation and leadership experience in the Energy and Maritime industry. As the former Vice President of Innovation and Transformation at Aker Solutions, a leading engineering and technology supplier to the offshore energy industry, I specialize in digital strategy and building innovation capability for top engineering and technology companies globally. I have led innovation from early stage to market implementation and have been recognized for my achievements with multiple awards, including being named one of the Top 50 Women in Technology in 2020. I help startup founders navigate the evolving energy landscape by focusing on sustainable business and technology integration. My experience from startup and corporate boards allows me to provide guidance on governance, strategic planning, and risk management, which are critical for startups aiming to scale. I understand the unique challenges and opportunities faced by new ventures and can offer guidance on securing funding, building resilient teams and robust business models. I have previously served on the Board of Directors at Greig Maritime Group and am currently on the board of Climatepoint, a Climatetech startup. I spearheaded the Digital Leadership Community in Oslo, Norway. I am the host of two podcasts: Something from Nada, a top-ranked show featuring inspiring stories from leaders with immigrant and underserved background. And Energy Tech Startup Podcast that I cohost with Jason Ethier.I am the author of \"Determined to Lead: The Disruptive Woman\'s Guide to Stop Playing Small and Transform your Career through Agile Leadership\", and am available for Keynote talks on the topic.In 2015, I co-founded a non-profit TCF Norway (affiliated with The Citizens Foundation), focused on providing quality education to underprivileged boys and girls in Pakistan.
