ABOUT NABIL ALSABAH

I am Lead Consultant for Artificial Intelligence at msg systems—a German IT conglomerate which employs over people. Concurrently, I am also a researcher at the Games Engineering Group at the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Würzburg. There, I am conducting a research project on developing human-like non-player characters (NPCs) for role-playing video games. Previously, I worked for four years at Europe’s largest tech association Bitkom as Head of Artificial Intelligence as well as head of Bitkom’s flagship conference, the Big-Data.AI Summit, which annually brought together thousands of AI professionals, decision-makers and researchers. In addition, I served as guest lecturer at the Dahlem Center for Machine Learning and Robotics of Freie Universität Berlin. I am also member of the Department of Computing’s Industrial Liaison Board at Imperial College London.I hold a PhD in psychology and a Master’s degree in computer science. I have completed research stays at several prestigious universities, including Peking University, National University of Singapore, and Stanford University.
