ABOUT NABA KRISHNA DAS
As a graduate research assistant and a Meyerhoff Graduate Fellow at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), I specialize in RNA structural biology and virology. With over three years of experience in this field, I have developed strong skills in structural modeling, RNA synthesis and purification, and X-ray crystallography. My current research aims to elucidate the structure and function of non-coding RNA within the genomes of RNA viruses, such as enteroviruses, and to discover novel targets for antiviral therapies. I have developed and applied advanced skills in structural modeling, RNA synthesis and purification, and X-ray crystallography, and I have published multiple papers in high-impact journals, such as Nature Communications. I have also received several awards for my research excellence, such as the Taylor & Francis Biomolecular Crystallography Poster Prize. I am passionate about solving global health problems and contributing to the scientific community through my work.
