About Noah Aluko

As a Mine Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan, I apply my skills and knowledge in long-range mine planning, design, review, investigation, and development of engineering projects. I ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and contribute to the company\'s vision of responsible mineral resource development. In my current role, I prepare Life of mine (LOM), Site strategic planning (SSP) and work in process (WIP) as well as make designs for pushback, stockpiles and other mining projects.I have a strong academic and professional background in the mining industry, with two master\'s degrees in mining engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and the China University of Mining and Technology, and a bachelor\'s degree in mining engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure. I have also conducted and presented research on mine planning, scheduling, and optimization modeling for sustainability, as well as on energy efficiency of mining trucks and shovels. Additionally, I have experience as a civil engineer (Geotech/Tailings) at Rio Tinto, where I managed and executed a project on new technologies for tailings pipelines monitoring and leakage detection worth over and received recognition for my outstanding performance. I have multiple certifications and honors from professional and academic organizations, demonstrating my achievements and commitment to the mining industry. My goal is to leverage my expertise and passion for sustainable mineral resource development to allow positive impacts on society and the environment.
