About Na Li

I am a hands-on technical leadership building large scale AI products. Within my career, me and my team have delivered nearly 20 large scale AI products to generate score or insights in real time or batch fashion, by leveraging data driven Machine Learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), Generative AI and LLMs, Conversation AI etc. My contribution to these projects initially started as a data scientist focusing on model development, but later grew into end-to-end pipeline development, ML operation, architecture design and integration with other systems to ensure AI engine secure, scalable, and accessible throughout business process. I am passionate about innovation and creativity and has been awarded with numerous AI innovation hackathons. I have extensive experiences with GenAI. I started leveraged LLMs into my projects before ChatGPT was launched and managed to achieve a good performance with minimal risk by implementing engineering workarounds. After breakthrough of LLM performance, I extensively leverage them to build GenAI applications with prompt engineering, RAG and variations and other AI products with features derived using GenAI. With profound understanding of the potential risks associated with AI and GenAI applications, both from a security and ethical perspective through my past research and involvement in various projects, I proactively mitigate these risks while I design and develop each AI or GenAI solution. In my current position as Director of Data Science and AI, I am well-versed in communicating with business leaders and executives. My role involves extensive interactions with clients, understanding of their unique business needs, and identifying opportunities for leveraging AI, proposing our AI solutions and their value propositions, accurately estimating project timelines and costs, leading project planning and executions, and effectively communicating project results and updates with stakeholders.I am interested in all things in AI and passionate about building AI products to drive high ROIs.Speciality areas: Generative AI, NLP, Deep Learning, Transformer, Conversational AI, ML modeling, ML Ops, AI security
