About N. Tien Pham
I build risk management programs, with a focus on AI, data privacy, and financial integrity. Currently, I support responsible AI innovation and privacy strategy at FINRA, a self-regulatory organization responsible for supervising member broker-dealer firms. Before FINRA, I led the privacy program at US FERC, and before that, I advised on privacy impact assessments at the US Dept of VA. I was in private practice for seven years advising global corporations, including those under regulatory scrutiny or monitorship, on compliance with various regulatory frameworks. I traveled around the globe, to Brazil, China, Cyprus, France, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Thailand, and Venezuela, for compliance/risk reviews and internal investigations. I am a CPA, CIPP/US, AIGP. As an adjunct professor, I have taught 20+ fraud investigation courses at DC-area universities.
