ABOUT MUHAMMAD ZUBAIR
I work on applied electromagnetics, metamaterials and metasurface engineering, developing computational and AI-assisted design tools to control wave–matter interactions across RF to optical frequencies. I apply this unified approach to three areas: energy-harvesting, intelligent sensing, and next-generation wireless systems. My goal is to create scalable meta-devices that deliver sustainable energy, smarter sensing, and secure, efficient connectivity. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Senior Member of and Optica, as well as a member of IET (MIET) and SPIE. I served as Associate Editor for Access and have been serving on the editorial boards of IET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, PLOS One, and the Wiley International Journal of Antennas and Propagation.
