ABOUT ZAKARIYA K.
I am an individual with way too many interests to keep count!That being said, I am primarily interested in Computer Science and Maths (especially fields where both can be applied together!), with good subject knowledge in Software Engineering, Algorithms, Vector Calculus and working in a team!(Does that count as subject knowledge?)I am an avid hobbyist, especially when it comes to working on programming projects, and I love learning new skills and about new technologies that are being used in the tech industry!I also have a lot of experience in teaching, having been a TA and a teacher in Primary School clubs and Weekend schools for a total of 2 and a half years!I love a good challenge and can\'t live a day without learning something new - hit me with the best you\'ve got!Currently studying Computer Science and Maths at university (graduating summer 2024), with experience in topics such as- Software Engineering and Team Project (using Scrum)- Calculus, including Vector Calculus- Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations- Object-Oriented Programming and Java- Linear Algebra- Fourier Analysis- Probability Theory- Operating Systems and C- Algorithms and Computational Complexity- Complex Analysis- Ring TheoryComing over the course of the next year, I\'ll have a good subject knowledge in- Machine Learning and Algorithms- Quantum Mechanics (especially excited for these first two!)- Functional Programming and Applications- Financial Mathematics- Game Theory- Non-linear Dynamical Systems and Chaos TheoryI enjoy programming quite a bit, and love to partake in the occasional Hackaton that different universities and organisations host here and there, with proficiency in Java, C/C++ and Python, but I love learning new langauges and technologies (JavaScript and Go will soon be added to the proficiency list)!Currently looking for a graduate job or placement year for when I graduate, and I can send my CV if requested!
