Throughout my career with Esri Canada, my team and I have had privilege to work with customers to help them get the most out of their investment in Geographical Information System (GIS) solutions by ensuring that it aligns to their strategic business objectives. Whether it is providing municipalities with new ways to understand their cities by creating a digital twin to visualize, analyze, or carry out simulations to better understand interactions among citizens, business, environment, and how it can impact economy, lifestyles, and health of essentially a living breathing organism that we call our home. GIS provides a different lens that allows individuals to see what others can’t and take appropriate measures to make a meaningful impact on their organizations and world around them. Since location is an integral part of almost any sector, it is this uniqueness that allows us to see the world in a different light. Allowing us to approach challenges and initiatives like we have never before. Whether you are in Natural Resources, Government, Transportation, Health, Public Safety, Education, and Commercial, applying “location” unlocks transformation approaches to leap-frog traditional solutions and ultimately delivering maximum ROI to customers.

ABOUT MYRON DOHERTY
As an experienced Information Technology professional with several decades of industry knowledge gained in government and private sectors. It has given me a unique perspective to better understand the “Jobs to be Done” by various organizations. Drawing upon this knowledge it has given me an appreciation of power of location to simplify complex problems where the only commonality might be location between various pieces of information and associated workflows. Through these sophisticated relationships we can deduce certain patterns and outcomes from a sea of information by applying “The Science of Where” using Esri’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions. It’s this ability, that consistently brings solutions to bear on our customers challenges and business initiatives. Through this process, my team and I, can deliver transformation change to organizations, that can result in exceptional success. It is through this journey with customer that we achieve our greatest satisfaction by knowing that we contributed to this outcome.
